Can I change the year end of my accounting period?

Yes, you can change your year-end date (aka accounting reference period end date) for your current or 1 prior accounting period.

However, you will need to ensure that:

You have not previously changed it within the last 5 years
The relevant period is not extended beyond a maximum of 18 months
The accounts for the relevant period are not overdue (beyond their filing deadline)
